Desiree Thompson

Desiree Thompson's mission is to educate everyone she meets with the truths of HIV and AIDS. She was exposed to the unfair stigma of living with HIV and AIDS during several trips to Ethiopia. She witnessed how HIV has many misconceptions and those with the disease are often treated unfairly. The need for accurate information to be distributed weighed heavily on her heart. She especially wanted to focus on helping kids understand that living with HIV should not include living with the stigma that surrounds this chronic disease.

A resident in South Carolina, Mrs. Thompson is a full time wife, mother, teacher (homeschooling her children), and truth teller.
