At a young age, Kelley Sparwasser would spend her time at her grandmother’s hip by the stove. After graduating from Stephens College, she completed the Culinary Arts program at Clark College and cooked at restaurants in Portland, Ore. She then moved to New York City where she worked on the editorial staffs of McCall’s and the esteemed hospitality industry trade magazine, Food Arts, before returning to Portland to work at a winery in the Willamette Valley. She now resides in Atlanta with her husband. Kelley and Jessica are the co-authors of Quinoa Cuisine, published by Ulysses Press in 2012.
