ROBERT W. WILSON

Robert Weldon Wilson was born in El Dorado, Arkansas and grew up roaming the forests and waters of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas with a rifle in hand and collie Queeny at his side. Many of the descriptions in his book were adapted from personal experiences. He has been lost at night in the woods, on Lake Kissimmee in Florida, and in Loutre bottom on the border of Arkansas and Louisiana. He hunted snakes in a swamp with one of his best friends, scoring fifty cottonmouth and water snakes on one adventure. When he toured Israel he got to view a magnificent Ibex on the side of a mountain. The author has a great appreciation for God's great outdoors. He has taken deer with a bow and encountered a wolf on the Navasota River. He attended Ouachita Baptist University for two years and graduated from LSU. He and his wife, Dr. Kathleen Wilson, live in Conroe, Texas. They have a grown son. Fascination with the Song of Solomon led to exhaustive research, leading him to the conclusion that the three-character translation has lately been grossly neglected. There are two works on the Song of Solomon that are now available in printable form: James Burton Coffman Commentaries on the Bible. www.studylight.org and Arno Gaebelein's Annotated Bible, Song of Solomon www.studylight.org
