Nicola Field

Nicola Field was born in Adelaide, South Australia, but grew up in the North Island of New Zealand. She has always had a love of writing and completed her Advanced Diploma of Journalism in Canberra in 2005.

While in Canberra, she worked for a local Hearing Service Provider for ten years. She has a hearing loss herself, since childhood, and this encouraged her to write her first short work on living with hearing loss. Her novel, The Prodigal, is available as an ebook and in paperback.

Now back in New Zealand, and working in a local library, she has been working on a new project and looks forward to providing readers with some exciting new work in the future.
