Ela Bell

Ela Bell's romantic stories deliver steamy scenes and compelling characters. Some of her female characters are developing as women into a fuller sense of their sexuality. Others, more mature characters, fully embrace their sexuality. All of them pursue goals that suggest they aim to become accomplished. Bell's books are both suspenseful romance and coming of age stories. Bell is a Texas author who wrote for Texas daily newspapers for several years before teaching at colleges. She has a Ph.D. in literature, a masters in journalism and in English. She grew up partly on military bases and learned to observe cultures and people. She and her husband live in Texas. Bell has written several novels and novellas which are published both as ebooks and print copies. The name Bell is a pen name for Dale Marie Taylor and is loosely connected with her family history. Dale Marie is married to Heber Taylor, also a former journalist and writer. She plays the piano and enjoys training her Alsatian. She enjoys gardening and is attempting to figure out how to grow hostas in the blazing heat of Texas. She also reads, helps publish her husband's work and plays Scrabble when she's not writing.
