Bev Magennis

Bev Magennis was born in Toronto Canada and immigrated to the US in 1964. In 1993 she moved to the New Mexico wilderness where the land and people inspired her to begin writing after a 35 year career as a visual artist. She has received a 2010 PEN Center USA Fellowship and a 2011 Norma Mailer Fiction Fellowship. Her first novel, Alibi Creek is published by Torrey House Press/March 2016. She lives in Albuquerque.
