Dave Kiehn serves as the Lead Pastor of Park Baptist Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he is committed to faithful expositional preaching, pastoral care, and the formation of healthy, gospel-centered churches. He has served in pastoral ministry for many years, giving particular attention to church revitalization, leadership development, and the training of future pastors and elders.
Dave also serves as the Director of Ministry – Americas for the Pillar Network, where he works alongside church planters and pastors throughout North, Central, and South America. In this role, he helps cultivate church-to-church partnerships, strengthen theological clarity, and encourage gospel-driven cooperation for the sake of Christ’s global mission.
He holds a PhD in North American Missiology and is deeply shaped by a Reformed Baptist theological framework. His teaching and writing consistently emphasize the centrality of the gospel, the authority of Scripture, and the local church as God’s primary means for disciple-making and mission. Dave regularly mentors pastors, leads pastoral cohorts and residencies, and speaks at conferences focused on preaching, leadership, ecclesiology, and pastoral faithfulness.
Dave is the author of several books and manuscripts focused on preaching, pastoral ministry, church leadership, and biblical theology. His writing reflects a pastoral tone marked by theological depth, practical wisdom, and a deep love for the church. Whether addressing Scripture, leadership, or Christian formation, his work aims to serve pastors and churches with clarity, conviction, and hope in Christ.
Dave is married to his wife, Ellen, and together they are raising their children in the life of the local church. He considers his greatest earthly joys to be his family, his congregation, and the privilege of proclaiming Christ week after week. Above all, Dave desires to serve Christ faithfully, shepherd God’s people well, and labor for the building up of churches that proclaim the gospel clearly until the Lord returns.
