Raffaelamarie Rizzo

Raffaela Marie Rizzo was born in the Calabrian region of Southern Italy and raised in Southwestern Connecticut. She learned English at school, and spoke "Calabrese" at home. She has turned her passion for people, history, family stories, genealogy and travel into compelling stories based on real people, facts and locales, brought to life through her imagination and creativity. She is a former senior executive with numerous business and marketing communications awards. She earned an MBA from Jacksonville University and a BA degree in media studies from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where she graduated magna cum laude.
