Chandan Sen Gupta

Chandan Sen Gupta was born in Bhilai, an industrial city in the heart of India, in the year 1961. From South-East Asia to West Africa and from the Middle East to Europe, he has traveled extensively to fulfill his duties of a civil engineer. He picked up writing in the course of his travels and extended stay in foreign lands. Much of his literary work revolves around his experiences in diverse cultural and social environments. He enjoys reading history and finds it a powerful tool to help explain the behavior of people in the contemporary world. His writings on Bahrain, the tiny island in the Arabian Gulf where he lives at present, have been published in various literary magazines in the country. His book, Land of Two Seas, is an exciting account of treachery, betrayal and heroism in the face of adversity during the course of World War 2 in the Middle East.
