Lev Tsimring is a San Diego-based physicist and photographer. He was born and raised in Russia. In 1992 he moved to USA to join University of California at San Diego. Tsimring published over 150 research papers on nonlinear and stochastic phenomena in physics and biology. He is a Fellow of American Physical Society and Co-Director of the BioCircuits Institute at UCSD. Lev Tsimring is also an accomplished photographer with many solo and group exhibitions, awards and two published books to his credit.
