Kimberly Suchek is passionate about quality of life issues for ALL military families. She is a Weekly Column Writer, Author, Entrepreneur, Inspirational Speaker, Veteran Advocate and Military Spouse for 15+ years and Mother of an amazing daughter.

Kim understands the unique challenges that come with being married to a U.S. soldier; being an assertive advocate for herself and others, Kimberly became concerned about the lack of information given, informed and shared for all branches, Eras, transitions and needs.

With encouragement from her husband and grandmother, who Kimberly fondly called "Joe Joe" she decided to do something about it.

"There is never any reason a veteran or their family should be isolated, confused, suffer or feel alone," Kimberly says.

After writing and publishing OPERATION: Military Resources, Kimberly went on to launch MilitaryResourceBooks.com, an online clearinghouse of up-to-date information regarding regulations, policies, programs, events and resources for ALL military personal and families (past/present). With the success of OPERATION: Military Resources Kimberly is a weekly contributor to Stars & Stripes penning the popular Survivor Guide Column that reaches Japan, Okinawa, Guam, Korea, United Kingdom and United States.

Kimberly is Past President of Operation Homefront of Michigan, Family Assistance Coordinator for the Air & Army National Guard/Reserve out of Joint Force headquarters and the Grand ledge Armory and a DEERS Operator. She was also a Patrol Officer for over six years. Also she holds a degree in Criminal Justice and currently working to achieve a teacher certificate while Freelance writing for several newspapers, magazines, Blogs and websites.

She loves being outdoors gardening, enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends.
