Andrew Boynton

Andrew P. Boynton was born in Beverly Massachusetts, but has lived most of his life in Central California, where he loves spending time in the old Sequoia forests of the Sierras or on the rocky shorelines of Cambria and Pebble Beach. He grew up reading fantasy and historical novels about medieval Europe. He has a passion for ancient cultures and languages and has studied Old English, Old Norse and Hebrew. He recently published "Beowulf: A New Translation and Commentary." He is presently writing "Guthbrand’s Saga," an historical-fantasy trilogy that is a prequel to Beowulf (in prose, not alliterative poetry). He is also translating the Old Testament from its original Hebrew into English.
