I'm into the old fashion things in life like smiling and waving hello to people even if I don't know them. Even if they don't like me, like the old lady next door. I don't blame her though...I have a big beard and ride a Harley. When she grew up that was a bad M.O. Good for her she's paid her dues. In my writing I like to tell the truth. Well, the truth as it would be in a fictional portrayal of whatever I'm writing about. Near as I can tell, that's about as close as most of us get to the truth anyway.

-When I was young and on my own for the first time I recognized an emptiness in it all.

I saw the holes in the systems that had been set out for me.

I was told to swallow the pill and everything would be okay.

I quietly put the pill in my back pocket and ran away.
