Amy Iorio

Amy Iorio started collecting children's books just about the time she was becoming an adult. Her love affair with children's books brought her to Microsoft where she produced and directed the Magic School Bus "Solar System" and "Human Body" game/interactive story, Rudyard Kipling's "How the Leopard Got His Spots", and "Paul Bunyan".

She filmed the award winning short "Seven's Eleven" in 2004. Her favorite baby gift to give for years was Bill Martin's "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom". She read Lisa Mccout and Cyd Moore's "I Love You, Stinky Face" approximately a thousand times along with all of Eric Carle's and Sandra Boynton's books. When Santa's cat Aurora Borealis came to live with her family and Aurora had kittens in her home she finally got back to children's books with the Kitten Preschool series.

For adults, Iorio was lucky enough to work with some of the top parenting experts of our day: Ellen Galinsky, Madeline Levine, Jim Steyer for the book "toughLove: Eighteen Top Experts Share Proven Strategies for Raising Confident, Kind, Resilient Kids" being published by Simon & Schuster.
