D. Chris Lemme

I enjoy writing about people. Interesting people. Crazy, damaged, unusual people. Like you and me. In particular, I enjoy exploring relationships between men and women. Complex, complicated, messy relationships.

And I love writing dialog. Quirky, funny, alarming and sometimes disturbing dialog. Because that's what crazy, damaged people say to each other. And of course they have sex - the pinnacle of the male-female relationship. And for the kinds of people about which I enjoy writing, their sexual relationships can be most revealing. For this reason I never shy away from depicting in excruciating detail the sex lives of my characters. That's part of what makes them so interesting.

Praise for "Finding Bartholomew" -

“I think the author has an intellectually creative style, direct and thought provoking prose meant that I spent much of the book considering the fact that as we journey along our individual paths we are continually bumped off course by the ripples of everyone else’s wave.” - Books Laid Bare

Praise for "The Sex Therapist" -

"Lemme has a unique and fresh writing style that I found to be completely compelling."

"Great erotic fiction that also values female empowerment... A more sophisticated erotic novel."

Praise for "The Seekers"

"This is an incredibly entertaining read. You’ll be hooked from the moment you start reading it. The author is a master at his craft. Highly recommended!"

Praise for "The Gardens of Eden"

"An eco-thriller that is fast-paced, has deep and complex characters, and will really make you think about how all of us are being effected by climate change."
