Homer Bush

Homer Bush was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 7th round of the 1991 amateur draft. He went on to play 13 years of professional baseball. Homer also played for the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays and the Florida Marlins. He was a member of the record setting 1998 Yankees World Series Championship team.

Homer continues to be passionate about the game of baseball. He is a regular youth instructor at the annual Blue Jays Honda Super Camps across Canada, coach for the Yankees Men’s and Women’s Fantasy Camps as well as Father and Son Fantasy Clinic held annually in Tampa, Florida. He was an instructor at Major League Baseball’s International 2012 African Elite Camp in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2014, he was the hitting instructor for the Eugene Emeralds in the San Diego Padres organization. Homer was most recently invited to instruct at the 2015 Elite Developmental Invitational on behalf of Major League Baseball and USA Baseball. He is currently working on a second book about how to become an overall elite baseball player and lives in Southlake, Texas with his wife and 2 children.
