Karin Drummond D.C.

Karin Drummond, D.C. graduated with distinction from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She finished the four-year doctorate of chiropractic degree at the University of Western States in 2000. She is a certified yoga instructor, scuba diver, and private pilot. She enjoys rock climbing, wake boarding, trail running, and salsa dancing.

She moved to her husband’s hometown of Bloomington, Indiana,in 2000 and has practiced there ever since. She now calls it home, living at its edge in the country with her husband and two children. She has been voted her town’s #1 chiropractor seven times as of 2017.

Passionate about living well, she keeps up with new research in the health field and practices what she preaches. Her patients have told her for years that she needed to write a book because she is such a great source of information on healthy living. Once she discovered how easy it was to publish a book, she decided to take advantage of this medium to help spread her thoughts on living well.

Her first book, Top Seven Ways to Combat the Effects of Sitting, was published in 2015. It was a finalist in the Best Book Awards category Health: Diet and Exercise in 2016. It is the first of a series of "Combat Dis-ease" books, as she is publishing many more books on a variety of topics.

Combat Headaches, Combat Irritable Bowels, Combat Slouching and Whiplash were published in 2016.

Whiplash to Wellness: A Chiropractors Journey, Combat Neck Pain, Combat Low Back Pain and Combat Foot and Leg Pain are next on her list of books she aims to publish in 2017.

Each book is a message in a bottle in the sea of misinformation.
