For over thirteen years, Alvin Walker, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana owned and operated a small yet successful electrical contracting business. He now works as an author and instructor specializing in the National Electrical Code (NEC) where his services are available throughout the United States. He has taught both basic and advance electrical classes at various schools in Louisiana and Texas. As a professional, he is a master electrician and holds a Louisiana state contractors license.
