G J Foxhall lives in a country town near Toowoomba, on Queensland's Darling Downs. Now retired from English language teaching, she shares her house with a husband and one very demanding canary.
When not writing animal stories for her grandchildren, she likes to read, garden, study foreign languages and travel. Australian wildlife features strongly in her stories, which celebrate the bush life she knows and loves.
Her Christmas story for children, KANGA'S CHRISTMAS DELIVERY, has illustrations by prize-winning artist Alicia Hope.
The first book in her FOXFARM series, WHAT THE MAGPIE SAW, will soon be released, followed by two more adventures, WHAT THE MAGPIE HEARD and WHAT THE MAGPIE DID.
