I write poetry sometimes prose always attempting to touch a soul. This is not your ordinary poetry. Sometimes it even borders on the 'hurtful truths' of our existence - meant to enlighten and raise consciousness.

I like to say poetry is my therapy in a world that, to me, is spinning out of control. I therefore write about things such as racism, love and loss, domestic violence, violence in the world, hate, religion and my strong belief that love is the answer.

We can get to that love, it is never too late but patience is wearing thin. Even still with empathy, understanding and acceptance we can win this battle, allowing better things ahead. My wish is that we stop with the divisive rhetoric and get to peace amongst humanity.
