Rusty Watson

Rusty Watson currently lives in Mt. Vernon, IL. but grew up in St. Louis, Mo. among a large group of very talented family members who taught school, created fine art, played musical instruments and read novels with a passion. Mrs. Watson obtained a Fine Arts Degree from Washington University, an Elementary Education Degree, as well as a Masters Degree in Education.

Growing up, Mrs. Watson was an avid but near-sighted reader, writing her first story in Second Grade when the teacher made the students copy a paragraph off the chalkboard. Sitting in the back of the classroom, not able to decipher the text, she naturally invented her very first fictional account of Jack, Sally, and their dog Spot! For her, it has been a wonderful journey of discovery ever since!
