Christopher Mark Heben

Chris McKinley is a Former U.S. Navy SEAL with over 15 years of combined Naval Special Operations Command (NAVSOC), and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC)/Department of State (DOS) field experience as a contractor.

Chris was assigned to SEAL Team 8 for five years before being attached to the Assault Cell of SEAL Team 18 (Det 309) of the Naval Special Warfare Group (NSWG2). Chris's qualifications as a SEAL include the following disciplines; Sniper, Advanced Urban Combat, Unarmed Improvised Combat Course, Breaching, Advanced Applied Explosives (AAE), High Threat Driving, Accelerated Freefall, Photo Intelligence, CQC/CQD, Direct Action, Tactical Combat Casualty Care and Protective Security Details. He was formally trained as an 18Delta (US Army Special Forces Medical Sergeant).

Chris left the Navy and earned a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with concentrations in Orthopedic Surgery/Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He then went to work with Blackwater USA on U.S. Department of State contracts as a section leader in their WPPS Mobile Dignitary Protection Program. Additionally, he operated within Blackwater’s elite ‘Select’ Activities Division as an Assault Team Leader/Clandestine Paramilitary Operator (Other Govt. Agency/OGA). For a period of two years, Chris was also Blackwater’s Director of Medical Operations & the Clandestine Activities Cell Planner for the DoD, DoS and Joint Special Operations Aviation Detachment (JSOAD) command structures in Africa, Afghanistan/Pakistan. Chris’ collective field experiences as both a military and para-military operator include Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq (OEF/OIF), Bosnia/Kosovo, and African theaters of operation.

As a civilian consultant, he has worked with FBI HRT and many state Law Enforcement SWAT Teams on tactical and covert skill sets to include Rapid Structural Evacuation, High Angle Rope, Tactical Pistol and Rifle, Urban Sniping, High Threat Driving, Linear Assault, Active Shooter, Exterior Structure Analysis & Intel, Covert/Clandestine Concepts, Micro-Expression/Deception & Deception Detection, as well as Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)/Care Under Fire (CUF), Self-Aid/Buddy-Aid.

Today, Mr. McKinley is the Founder INVICTVS Group, and INVICTVS Media & Television Group (IMTG) offering Security and media consulting along with corporate/executive development and motivational speaking. Chris is also the co-author of the book: “Enemy In The Wire".

Since the Bin Laden mission in May of 2011, Mr. McKinley has appeared on hundreds of national/interational television and news networks as a Special Forces Subject Matter Expert and has also been heavily featured on documentaries currently airing in the U.S as well as internationally.

-Narrative Voice for 1st & snd season of Under Armour’s “Ridge Reaper” hunting show currently re-airing on the Outdoor Channel. Season two begins July of 2014.
