Bridget Khursheed

My name is Bridget Khursheed. I am a poet and geek based in the Scottish Borders. My collections Exact Colour of Snow and The Last Days of Petrol are both available from Shearsman Books. You can also find my fiction book The Cellarman.

Fun facts:

Strangest places to perform to an audience? There are a few including an allotment, a dissection theatre for vets, in a minibus and even standing in the middle of the road.

I have an MSc in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics and an MA In English. I write but also developed some of the earliest UK intranets & project managed, developed and taught on the first online course at the University of Oxford. This is why my stage name for spoken word is poetandgeek.

I am one of 5 sisters and grew up in a Vicarage. (If I was one of the Bronte sisters, I would be Anne.)

I have two sons and a cat called Leonard.
