Irwin G. Stein Esq.

Irwin Stein is a Wall Street-trained attorney who has practiced law in and around the capital markets for 40 years. He has rep-resented top-of-the–line investment banks and some of Wall Street’s more infamous scoundrels. Over the years he has helped many companies raise funds to start or expand their business.

For the last 20 years he has worked with a group representing investors who were defrauded by financial sharks and mainstream financial firms and advisors. This book recounts some of those cases. It is intended to help investors, especially baby boomers who are about to retire, avoid some of the same costly mistakes.

Mr. Stein’s practice was interrupted in 2011 when he was di-agnosed with leukemia. All proceeds that he receives from the sale of this book will be donated to cancer research. He staunch-ly opposes the idea that he is a cancer survivor, preferring to be called a cancer conquistador instead.
