John A. M. Chitty

John Chitty is a health teacher, author and therapist in Boulder, Colorado. He is co-founder of Colorado School of Energy Studies (established 1992, www.energyschool.com) and former five-term President of the American Polarity Therapy Association. His books include Dancing with Yin and Yang: Ancient Wisdom, Modern Psychotherapy and Dr. Randolph Stone's Polarity Therapy (2013) and Energy Exercises: Easy Exercises for Health and Vitality (co-author, 1990), and he is creating a new book describing therapy for very young babies (late 2015).

He was born in 1949 (Sewanee, Tennessee) and graduated from Princeton University in 1971 (BA, Sociology). He has been married since 1973 to therapist and teacher Anna Chitty (Princeton '72), and they have two grown children.
