Dr. Josh Misner is an award-winning communication professor, author, mindfulness researcher, and profanity aficionado who missed the bus to adulthood in his mid-20s and continues resisting maturity in Southern California with a troupe consisting of an undeservedly tolerant spouse and mixed brood of children & fur-bearing mammals.
A recovering professor and TED Talks survivor, Josh has been featured in a variety of bougie publications like The Huffington Post, Time, and The Good Men Project, and several lesser-known publications that were much more fun to work with. While authoring a variety of books ranging from public speaking to interpersonal communication, his passion is to teach people how to lighten up, savor every moment, and develop better presence so they can find balance and cultivate meaningful relationships.
