Rachael Mayo

Rachael's exposure to and participation in the wide world of publication is through the medium of visual art. She has created book cover illustrations and interior illustrations for small press publications and individual projects. Dragons and other fantastic creatures and beings are her stock in trade.

Rachael's newest offerings are a series of coloring books which contain many of her detailed dragon and fantasy designs. This is where her mind truly lives: in the dark heart of her myriad ink pens.

Rachael is inspired by just about everything her eyes take in. She counts Art Nouveau, comic books, SF and monster movies, birds, fish, and bugs as some of her favorite influences.
