Caretaker for my mother starting at age four when I made an emergency phone call for her.

Musician and teacher. Performed on stage in Taiwan, Latin America,Africa, & U.S. - French horn.
Life long Mennonite missionary with service on four continents.
Interracial marriage with a classy Vietnamese woman, five years my junior.
Chinese friends thought she was my second wife because she looked so young.
At age 66 she still looks young (to me anyway). Her mom was gorgeous too-came as refugee.
Love teaching Bible to atheists from China & meeting Muslim immigrants from anywhere.
Fluent Chinese speaker. Previously lectured in Chinese.
Favorite coffee shop is Pow Wow Grounds in MPls where my Ojibwa and Lakota friends meet.
Expert on patriarchal systems. Developing a Biblical theology of social systems.
Philosophy:
Life is hard, but beautiful. The world is a hostile place, but sprinkled with wonderful people.
Everything God made is good. Jesus is the essence of perfect humanity, & worthy of worship.
