Michali Lerner

Michali Lerner has traveled extensively, both with a suitcase and in her mind, but has now settled in a quiet country home in the woods of New England. She finds inspiration from worldwide myths and legends.

She grew up by the sea, which continues to influence her writing. Michali lives with her two young children, husband and their German Shepherd, Chloe.

In her spare time, she explains the pronunciation of her name with little success—Mee-ha-lee, the “h” resembling the sound of a frog in your throat. She enjoys riding horses, exploring nature and creating magic in the most ordinary of things.
