E. Ann Moore

E. Ann Moore has been a middle school teacher for the past twenty-five years. She teachers English to sixth-graders, as well as, creative writing and poetry to sixth through eighth-graders. It was in one of those creative writing classes in which she used her story, Mr. Jay Learns to Share, to help model the writing process. The students urged her to publish the story and the rest is history.

The illustrator for the first series of books, A Bird's Eye View of Virtues, is Ann's mother. She is an accomplished artist currently residing in Florida. She creates a beautiful water-colored piece of art for each and every page of every book.

When not teaching, Ann loves to work in her wood shop creating her own pieces of art using a scroll saw and Dremel. Sophie loves bird-watching and taking trips to the mountains, which is her inspiration for her artwork.
