Born in Vancouver, Canada, Kath Curran came of age in the sixties when everything seemed possible and her goal was nothing less than achieving justice for the world. Now in her 60’s, Kath still sees justice as a worthy objective, but puts more faith in the healing power of compassion.
The circumstances of Kath’s life have taught her much about the art of leaving; these days she’s exploring the doors that open through the practice of staying, and through embracing the simple wisdom of three words inscribed on a memorial bench in Stanley Park: Gratitude. Simplicity. Service. From her home on Vancouver Island, Kath is an occasional contributor to her website at kathcurran.com.
