Jay Horne

Jay Horne is an Arizona-based author and theatre critic. His love for writing began years ago as a news writer while serving in the military. He continued his writing through his life, eventually joining two of his loves together by reviewing local professional and community theatre for Arizona's Independent Newspapers. He also served on the ariZoni Board of Directors. He currently writes and publishes reviews through his own blog, "In A Director's Viewpoint," while focusing more time on his future books.

“The Vikings: Myths or Truths” is Jay’s sixth book in four years. His first book was released on August 25, 2015, and centers around his life with his beloved wife, Vivian - “The Love of My Life. My Experiences and Adventures with Vivian. A True Love Story.” Jay’s second book “Theatre: The Good, The Bad, The Beautiful” centers around his 40+ years of theatre experience and was released July 31, 2016. His third book, “Batter Up!” focused on the life and love of baseball was released in early 2017. “The Other” is his fourth book and was released November 6, 2017. “America the Beautiful” was his fifth book and was released November 10, 2018.
