I live in the house I was born in on Whidbey Island. Later it travelled on a barge from West Beach, and under Deception Pass Bridge to Penn Cove on the other side of the island. My husband and I, both retired teachers, raise cattle and hay on our seventy-acre farm. It's a family affair when our three daughters and their families come to help us make hay in the summer. Writing historical stories, helping with the cattle, gardening, and hiking on our island beaches, keep me busy. I love to dance! I love receiving letters from my readers: avisrector@live.com.
