Diane Freedman

Diane Freedman is a children's book author and a speech-language pathologist located in New York City. In her practice she specializes in early childhood language development. In her life she is just a good egg.

She has built her career on the understanding that language and literacy development does not occur within a vacuum. She utilizes a holistic approach that includes fostering a love for books and reading.

The creation of The Spaghetti Adventures of Diana Banana was borne out of Diane's core belief that childhood early learning should be fun and joyful. She has created a group of quirky characters and a delightful tale in this, the first of a series of books about the silly antics of a knobby kneed girl.

Diane is a long time resident of the West Village. You can find her on any given Saturday morning reading a children's story time.
