Gaia B. Amman

Gaia B. Amman (they/them) is an award-winning author who writes empowering queer and feminist stories, ranging from contemporary and paranormal romance to deeply personal historical memoirs.

A scientist by training with a Ph.D. in Molecular Oncology, Gaia brings a keen, analytical eye to the human condition. This unique background fuels their "superpower": drawing in readers with richly layered characters and gradually introducing them to queer realities through complex, deeply felt relationships.

Their debut memoir, An Italian Adventure, was recently recommended and featured in Kirkus Reviews Magazine, which called the work "astute and affecting." Whether set in the bucolic Northern Italian countryside or the Adirondacks, Gaia’s page-turners blend irresistible slow-burn heat, sex positivity, and real-world edge. Expect escapism with soul and spice: redemption, growth, found family, and characters who feel like friends.

Among Amman's favorite authors are Jandy Nelson, Anna-Marie McLemore, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut.
