Horace P. Guerra, IV, MD is a native Texan raised in the rural south who worked in melon packing sheds and his father's ranch prior to attending college at Texas A&M University. He was accomplished in track and field and football, but recognized that lack of height would not land him any college sports scholarship, and would instead be the beginning to his love for power lifting and body building. He took to getting his MD at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and his residency training at the recently renamed The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School residency program.
He entered into the United States Air Force spending 10 years as a primary care physician and flight medicine doctor with several deployments including Cuba, Saudi Arabia, and Germany. He now works as a safety representative in construction and demolition.
His interests include scuba diving, mountaineering, snow skiing, snowmobiling, weight training, fiction writing and the study of quantum mechanics. He has an immense fascination with the defiant Theory of Everything and human consciousness.
