Mannan Bukhari

Born in Kashmir, Mannan Bukhari, a prominent human rights defender is working in the field since quite some years with special focus on the situation in conflict torn Kashmir. Besides engaged in political activism he is also working to promote public cause through RTI as an eminent activist. He has been writing on social issues in vernacular news papers and has also made a documentary film titled “Shattered Dreams”, based on the havoc created by the pellet gun in Kashmir.
