Marcella McCoy-Deh

Marcella L. McCoy-Deh (1969 - ) was born the last of five children to James and Elizabeth (McNeil) McCoy in Philadelphia, PA. She has spent her career in higher education as an administrator and faculty member with an early, brief stint as a newspaper features editor. Her first novel, The Search for Susu (2015), was co-authored with T.M. Giggetts. Subsequent publications include two children's books collections: Akofa Stories (2016) inspired by her daughter; and The Way I Remember It (2017) inspired by early life lessons learned growing up in 1970s Philadelphia. McCoy-Deh is working on a second installation with T.M. Giggetts and a fantasy fiction solo project on family ghosts set in Virginia and South Carolina.
