Ann O'Leary

I have enjoyed reading and writing since forever. Taking my own children to the library to discover books and then reading them together was special. Sharing the story of Cutie with my grandchildren, the elementary children I have met as a Substitute teacher, and the wonderful kids in the neighborhood was my motivation for writing Cutie's story. The book touches on many topics elementary children consider. I hope they will enjoy reading it.

Highlights of my life. The 7 years my family and I lived in Los Angeles while my ex did a post doc at UCLA. The beach was so close, and that sun was always there. Living in France for a year, my Junior Year in College in a French family was wonderful. Another was going back for 6 weeks with a Rockefeller grant many years yrs later, and being able to invite my children to meet me in the South of France. Cutie's home is very similar to mine now; I have a cozy place with woods, and close pools and fitness clubs, not too far from great shopping, and the University of Pittsburgh, and the Pittsburgh Theatre center. And then there's always the possibility of traveling to Philly or Manhattan Beach or Santa Barbara. As the t-shirt says, Life is Good.
