Peter Fenner

Peter Fenner, Ph.D. is the author and co-editor of "Margins & Missions... not Moonshots: Pathways to Better Higher U.S. Education." Peter is also the founder, in 1979, of today’s Compass companies, of which he now is CFO, Peter has decades of professional leadership experience focusing on organizational effectiveness within educational, healthcare, corporate, and community environments. Previously a National Science Foundation-funded geosciences college commission director, tenured professor, academic vice chancellor (within the Purdue University System), he also spent 11 years deaning at the College of Environmental & Applied Sciences at Governors State University. Other faculty roles were at the City College of New York, the University of Pennsylvania, and service at distance learning universities, With close to a hundred titles among published books, monographs, book segments, refereed articles, abstracts, and reviews, he also has facilitated leadership workshops in higher education and business. His graduate degrees are from the University of Illinois (Urbana).
