Andrew Gallagher

Andrew is a two-time award winning author. The Irish 'Beckett-Joyce Award', and the international 'Space Opera: Writers Flash Fiction'. He is passionate about storytelling and loves the challenge of creating page turning stories. With a background in Chemistry, he became an English language teacher, and has honed his writing skills to create captivating stories that keep readers at the edge of their seats. Andrew believes that the key to great writing lies in the ability to connect with readers on a sensory level, and this is something that he strives to achieve with every book he writes. When he is not writing, he enjoys reading and boxing. Having visited 22 countries, he is a bit of a traveller and speaks basic mandarin. Vietnam, is number one.

The six authors that inspired him to write are: Seamus Heaney, Brian Friel, Garth Ennis, P.K.Dick, Arthur C Clarke and Bernard Cornwell.
