Penelle

As an author, Penelle has always had pen to paper, loving the opportunity to translate into words the world and people around us.

Before her current novels which take the reader through personal discovery spiced with intrigue and beauty of place, she produced six major-city travelogues and published news articles regarding current events and cultural history. Penelle's background includes administration in the newsroom of Radio Free Europe and another twenty-two years in international tourism.

The author credits her wanderlust spirit to her father's discussions on global issues overheard since her childhood at his knee. Eventually Penelle answered that influence with her own adventures around the globe as both an employee of Pan American World Airways and then as a professional tour director for educational and leisure travel. She was privileged to lead explorations with participants of U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s People-to-People programs for peace. Today she takes on part time employment assignments and cares for family while taking rare moments of solitude for creative writing.

Penelle resides in Sarasota/Manatee area of Florida where she can be seen at book events, walking the beach with her red-furred poodle, Sashi-boy, or exercising with Miranda Esmond White at "Classical Stretch." She loves to read stories with history or biography, and tickle the piano keyboard. She hopes to capture your own readers' enjoyment with her next intrigue novel due December.
