Wanda M. Proost was not born to be a caregiver, yet she was. Wanda loved and cared for her children, and granddaughters, and when called upon lovingly took care of her Alzheimer's stricken husband. She was born a farmer's daughter, loved the land and animals. Her strong love of children and seniors steered her life.
With a high school diploma and a cosmetology license she fearlessly stepped out into the world to make her mark. With all of the challenges motherhood, divorce and life can bring, she thought that her future would be bright. Wanda had no way of knowing that falling in love with Joe Proost would present her with the most agonizing challenges of her life.
Wanda is intelligent, funny, loving, resourceful and stubborn. Everyone that knows her will agree. It is these traits that helped her help her very sick husband. She found comfort in loving and sharing life's moments with her beloved Joe.
With a stiff upper lip and a song in her heart Wanda walked through life into Joe's arms and into a future no one saw coming.
