Disa Van Orman

Born in Denver as a 6th generation Coloradan, Disa has spent most of her life as an entrepreneur. She and her husband renovated houses for 40 years, founded Poop Van Scoop, the first dog cleaning business in the country and did lifecastings of people and animals and turned them into cold cast bronze sculpture.

She is a Healing Touch for Animals Practitioner, Reiki master/teacher, a Certified Aromatherapist, Raindrop Practitioner and developed a talent for creating sacred passings for loved ones. Taking photographs, traveling and playing with her family, scuba diving and Krav Maga were all her passions until the sudden death of her 6 year old grandson. Her life changed and lost its luster.

As she sat down to write his eulogy, he gave her a beautiful poem telling her that he was not gone and he is here with her sending her signs. She wove her spectacular photographs of animals and nature with his touching and heartwarming words to create the inspiring book "My Loved One Shines On! A Gift from Beyond".

She is now also a photographer, an author, a certified Intuitive Grief Coach, as well as a speaker on recognizing signs from the afterlife. This book re-ignited a flame of joy and love and reacquaint her with her laughter, hope and passion. It will open doors to others who are grieving their loved ones to understand the many ways our loved ones are still near us sending their love.
