John Laudun

John Laudun is a writer and researcher living in Louisiana, where he is on the faculty of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In his scholarly work, he seeks to understand how humans think their way through the world in words and in actions. He has been supported in his work by the U.S. Department of Education with a Javits Fellowship, by the Indiana Center for Global Change and World Peace with a MacArthur Scholarship, with a Fellowship from the EVIA Digital Archive, and, most recently, with a Mellon Foundation grant in support of his book, "The Amazing Crawfish Boat" (University Press of Mississippi, 2016). His work has appeared in scholarly journals, anthologies, archives, CDs, films, and television series.
