Sue C. Smith

Sue is an award-winning songwriter who has had cuts across several genres of Christian music. She's won 5 Dove Awards, Christian music's most prestigious prize, and twice has been named Songwriter of the Year at the Absolutely Gospel Awards in. She is a 40-time Dove nominee and the writer of over 100 musicals, presented in churches all over the world. Sue has written 17 #1 songs and is a staff writer with Daywind Music.

In 2000, Sue founded the Write About Jesus Workshop with the mission of "informing and inspiring the community of Christian songwriters." Her first book, Every Hallelujah: A Songwriter's Journey Through the Psalms," grew out of her passion for studying the Bible and her involvement in helping aspiring songwriters learn more about the craft and discipline of writing.
