Guy T Martland

Guy T Martland is a British writer whose debut SF novel 'The Scion' was published by Safkhet Fantasy on July 1st, 2015; it has subsequently been long-listed for a British Science Fiction Association (BSFA) award and was also voted 2nd in the 18th Preditors & Editors 2015 readers' poll for Best Science Fiction/Fantasy novel.

He has also published short stories in various magazines, including Bards & Sages Quarterly, Perihelion SF, Shoreline of Infinity, Encounters Magazine, Albedo One, Nebula Rift and Fiction Vortex.

When not writing, he works as a hospital pathologist and plays a 19th century violin (but not at the same time). At 6 foot 8 inches, he may well be one of the tallest SF writers in the world.
