Caroline Wedd

Caroline Wedd grew up on a small dairy farm in South Derbyshire. After graduating in music from Southampton University in 1985, she trained as a music teacher at the University of London Institute of Education and has worked since then in both primary and secondary schools in London, Hampshire and the Midlands. She wrote her books in a shed in her garden whilst raising her three children and working as a music teacher; she currently teaches piano, is founder of the charity Flower Power Book and continues to work on new books and music.

The Walnut Tree is her first novel and Flower Power! is her first children's picture storybook.
