Michael D. Dwyer

Michael D. Dwyer is Associate Professor of Media and Communication at Arcadia University, where he teaches courses in media and cultural studies, film, popular music, and writing. He is the author of TINSEL AND RUST (Oxford University Press, 2025) and BACK TO THE FIFTIES (Oxford University Press, 2015). His writing has also appeared in outlets like Mediapolis, Journal of Popular Music Studies, Alphaville, Flow, and Negative Dunkalectics. He lives in Philadelphia.
