Rick Howe

In 1983 Rick and Sue Howe moved to Boulder, Colorado, where they established Dayspring Center for Christian Studies, a unique campus ministry at the University of Colorado, Boulder. For three decades, hundreds of students took courses in Christian Studies that were approved for transfer credit to the University. Hundreds more lived in Dayspring’s Christian residential communities housed in four former Greek houses. Many more participated in Study Center programs and events.

Rick and Sue raised three children, Amberle, Lorien, and Jamison, who grew to love the Rocky Mountains as much as their parents do. They often hike, snowshoe, and spend time at a family cabin together. Rick devotes most of his time to writing and speaking under the auspices of University Ministries, whose mission is to “inspire and nurture a thoughtful pursuit of Christ, one student, one professor, one university at a time.” He is a graduate of Denver Seminary and Princeton Theological Seminary.
